Can visits to strip clubs (cover charge, drinks and tips) be used as a tax deduction for business expenses?

Strippers do not pay taxes on tips, so shouldn’t the tipper get a tax break as well?

Im certainly no expert, but the tax program I use(and have used for about the past 6 years) separates Business Expenses into three groups: “Meals and Entertainment,” “Other Than Meals and Entertainment” and “expenses not listed above”,which for me was scrubs, my laptop, shoes, etc.
    Other than Meals and Entertainment includes: vehicle expenses(business miles X 44.5 cents, upkeep, repairs,insurance,etc),pkg. fees,tolls,lodging,car rental,plane tickets…etc.
Meals and Entertainment includes exactly what it reads….meals and entertainment.
So-it would seem to me that you could include it. There may be someone out there, though, that could tell you why you CANT.
I include every little thing I can…..I am a nurse and last year, my total business expenses came to almost $ 16,000. I even keep receipts from Wal-Mart when I buy ink pens!!!! It adds up faster than you think! Good Luck!
What are you doing going to strip clubs during a “Business Trip???” Im only joking! Might as well have some fun when ya can!
