Legal Status
Since the blue laws may be alleged religious bias, which often can be sanctioned, if taken to court high enough. However, the remaining blue laws are generally considered constitutionally sound because they are closing many of the laws relating to the stores are based on a secular day of rest, ie not involve any religious prejudice.
