Not sure how much is £ 17,000, after taxes?
I'm starting a new job that pays £ 17,000 per anum, I went in the Web site: UK income net salary after tax calculator and told me that after someone tax £ 17,000 will take home £ 1,138 per month, which functions as £ 13,654 per anum! I'm really disappointed because I felt it would be in a higher wage, but have noticed instant messaging basically going to be £ 13,000 which I find annoying and frustrating, especially because it was really hyped to get a new job with better pay. That's almost 4 Grand knocked off my annual salary. Is that correct calculation? : (
Yes, that's right. You keep 80% of what you earn. But if you paid earlier work below £ 17,000 per year (before taxes) will still be better. Its not really a case of 4 large thrown from his annual salary, "because nobody home is 100% of your gross salary anyway. In terms of%'ll have much more than you earn what some do. In essence, the higher the higher the% of income that is lost in taxes and NI.
