The letters of tax-exempt donation?
Do I have to put a dollar amount when you receive the donated items (not cash) to its non-profit organization? Or just send a letter saying what was imposed donations? Do I have to list all? As we received a lot of the small and home building articles.
You will need a receipt from the organization to the day that contributed articles. No going to put a value on anything. You will have to maintain a list of the items you gave and the value assigned to each item. There is no need to attach this list to the file, but you should be available just in case. If the total value of items exceeds $ 5,000 will have an evaluation by a professional appraiser. If the value is under $ 5,000 one can estimate the value of the items that have been used in about 25% of the original cost more if the issue is more recent and less has been used excessively.
